A Note to Our International Patients & Families

When severe joint pain or complex reconstruction requires specialist evaluation, distance should not stand in the way of objective medical clarity. Traveling to Singapore for an in-person consultation involves significant time, expense, and physical strain—particularly when mobility is already limited.

This virtual portal serves as a direct bridge between your home country and our clinic. Before committing to international travel, our objective is to review your original diagnostic imaging, evaluate your specific joint mechanics, and meet with you via Zoom to deliver a clear assessment of your options.

To comply with Singapore Medical Council guidelines and protect patient data, we do not conduct casual evaluations over messaging apps or informal email threads. Establishing a formal, structured teleconsultation ensures your medical file is properly registered in our EMR system, your original DICOM imaging is systematically reviewed prior to the meeting, and your session with Dr. Saminathan Suresh Nathan is dedicated entirely to definitive clinical guidance.

Pre-Consultation Workflow

1. Patient Registration & Legal Consent

Complete the formal intake details and acknowledge the scope and medicolegal terms of the remote evaluation.

2. Diagnostic Imaging Submission

Provide a secure cloud link (Google Drive, WeTransfer, or Dropbox) containing your complete, uncompressed DICOM scans (X-rays, CT, or MRI) along with official radiological reports.

3. Specialist Fee Settlement

Submit confirmation of your SGD 500.00 telegraphic bank transfer to cover the formal administrative setup, pre-meeting image review, and dedicated 20-minute video consultation.

4. Medical Record Registration & Appointment Issuance

Upon verification of files and payment, an official patient chart is created in our clinic registry, and your confirmed Zoom consultation link is dispatched via email.

Protocol & Terms of Engagement

• Comprehensive Review & Consultation: The SGD 500 fee covers the administrative opening of your formal medical chart, the surgeon's preliminary review of your diagnostic imaging, and a dedicated 20-minute Zoom consultation with Dr. Nathan and your family.

• Dedicated Pre-Arrangement: To ensure each complex case receives thorough clinical review, consultations are confirmed strictly upon receipt of cleared funds via Bank Transfer / Telegraphic Transfer (TT). Ad-hoc or unarranged consults are not conducted.

• High-Resolution DICOM Imaging: Accurate surgical opinion requires uncompressed diagnostic files. Full DICOM datasets (X-rays, CT, or MRI) must be submitted via secure link prior to the appointment.

• Formal Clinical Record: Every remote evaluation generates an official chart within our Singapore clinic system, ensuring all care adheres to established Singapore clinical standards and record-keeping protocols.
