Direct Specialist Access

Consultations with Dr. Saminathan Suresh Nathan focus on the structural and oncological complexities of musculoskeletal care, specifically complex limb salvage and advanced joint reconstruction.

Insurance, Ethics, and Clinical Independence

At this practice, we believe the patient-doctor relationship must be defined by clinical necessity rather than the restrictive nature of network provider lists. Many insurance panels now utilize "concierge triage" systems—mechanisms that fundamentally underserve both patients and doctors by limiting access to specialized expertise in favor of high-volume outcomes.

Having witnessed this systemic erosion of care standards, we have consciously withdrawn from most restrictive panels to protect our clinical independence. We maintain an exclusive partnership with AIA, as their model remains consistent with our intention of providing uncompromising medical care.

Verification of Coverage: For patients outside of the AIA network, we operate on a private-fee basis. Given the specialized nature of our practice and our internationally regarded opinions on limb salvage and complex reconstruction, patients are strictly advised to verify their "Out-of-Network" coverage limits with their respective providers prior to the consultation. While we will assist with clinical documentation for private insurance claims or "Letter of Guarantee" (LOG) applications, the financial responsibility for surgical direction remains a direct agreement between the patient and the clinic.

Clinic Operating Hours & Access

The clinic sees patients for consults:

• Mondays to Fridays: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

• Saturdays: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm

• Online consults are available for foreign patients at SGD 500 but need to be pre-arranged and bank transfers made beforehand. 

• Special arrangements may be made outside these hours through our answering service (24 hours).

• We accept all major credit cards especially VISA, Mastercard, JCB, American Express and CUP.

Practice History & Administrative Details

We first began our practice out of #17-16 Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre on 1st November, 2012.

As of 15th September 2013, our new premises at #13-07 Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, 3, Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228510.......
