Figure 1. Proximal tibial resections are challenging as they result in loss of attachment of the extensor of the thigh (quadriceps). We have devised a method of using allografts and tissue transplants to reconstitute this muscle onto a prosthesis with multiple publications supporting it's use.

Figure 2. When a tumor has good response to chemotherapy and especially if the joint can be preserved an allograft reconstruction is very advantageous in being very well tolerated with good function and preserving the native joint of the femur.
